Choose the right specification
An outdoor banner needs the right size, material and fixings for its exposure and installation method.
- Measure the actual fixing area, not just the available wall.
- Tell us whether the banner faces wind and how long it must stay up.
- Specify hems, eyelets or other finishing based on the installation plan.
Planning example: a temporary outdoor promotion
Photograph the exact fence or wall and measure its clear fixing area. A large graphic can behave differently in wind from a small indoor panel. Discuss the material and fixing plan before treating the artwork dimensions as final.
What to send for a useful quote
Provide dimensions, quantity, location, expected display period, exposure, fixings and deadline.
Design for viewing distance and include bleed and a generous safe area around hems and eyelets; confirm finishing allowances before export.
A question we hear
Is PVC right for a windy fence?
It depends on the location and fixing. Describe the site so the team can compare suitable material and finishing choices.
Plan the file and approval
Before we produce the job, check the final PDF for the exact wording, dates, contact details, size and page or panel order. Confirm any unusual stock, mounting or finishing with the team. A physical sample can be useful where fit, colour or feel matters.
