Work through the job in four steps
Start with quantity
Digital often suits shorter or versioned runs; litho can become economical at larger, consistent volumes.
Include change frequency
Variable names or frequent revisions may favour shorter digital batches.
Check stock and finish
Certain papers, formats or special finishes may point toward a specific route.
Request comparable quotes
Give the same size, quantity, pages, stock, finish and deadline for each option.
Common mistake
A cheap unit price may still be the wrong choice if most copies become outdated.
Before you send the file
