Local launches, takeaway campaigns, event handouts and service explainers
Choose the right specification
A good leaflet makes the next action obvious before the reader has to hunt for it.
- Match format to distribution: counter display, letterbox, handout or included pack.
- Give the headline and offer enough contrast to work at arm’s length.
- For large repeat volumes, compare digital and litho quotes rather than assuming one is always cheaper.
Planning example: one offer, one action
For a local launch, show the offer, location and next action first. A long list of services may belong on a folded leaflet or landing page. When the copy is final, test the leaflet in the way it will be handed out: can someone understand it in a few seconds?
What to send for a useful quote
Send finished size, quantity, sides, paper feel, delivery date and where the leaflets will be distributed.
Supply one page for each printed side at final size with bleed; keep any QR code clear and test it at actual size.
A question we hear
Should I use a folded leaflet?
Use a fold when the information needs a reading order or a compact format; a flat flyer works when one offer must be seen instantly.
Plan the file and approval
Before we produce the job, check the final PDF for the exact wording, dates, contact details, size and page or panel order. Confirm any unusual stock, mounting or finishing with the team. A physical sample can be useful where fit, colour or feel matters.
