Work through the job in four steps

  1. Describe the outcome

Say who will receive the piece and how it will be used.

  2. List the specification

Include finished size, quantity, pages or sides, stock, finish, binding or folds, and number of versions.

  3. Give the timing

State the required collection or delivery date and whether artwork is ready.

  4. Share constraints

Mention installation, mailing, data handling, brand colour, budget range and any approval steps.

Common mistake

'A brochure, around 500' leaves too many variables for a reliable quote.

Before you send the file

Check the exact specification with The Print Centre Warrington before final export. Bleed, resolution, colour setup, imposition and finishing allowances depend on the product and production route. Approve the final file and content yourself.
