Work through the job in four steps

  1. Set the job

Decide finished size, quantity, sides, material, fold or binding and deadline. These decisions determine the artwork template.

  2. Build at the right size

Use the final trim size, then add the bleed specified for the job. Keep live text inside a safe margin.

  3. Prepare images and colour

Use the highest-quality originals and check effective resolution at placed size. Agree any brand-critical colour expectations before production.

  4. Export and proof

Export a suitable print PDF, inspect every page at 100%, verify links and dates, then approve the final proof.

Common mistake

A screen preview cannot prove that a small QR code, pale type or folded panel will work in hand.

Before you send the file

Check the exact specification with The Print Centre Warrington before final export. Bleed, resolution, colour setup, imposition and finishing allowances depend on the product and production route. Approve the final file and content yourself.
